Sol Cresta takes the docking as well as formation strategy of old-fashioned shooting games Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and enhances them using it’s “free-form docking” technique. Based on the triangulation of three ships, the main ship Yamato (Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi) has the ability to employ different attacks. The docking, the splitting and restructuring the ships when are required is key for defeating the massive armies of Mandler.
