ELEX II is the sequel of ELEX is an open-world, old-fashioned role-playing games created by the Piranha Buttes, who are also the creators of Gothic and Risen. ELEX II is a return to Magalan, a future post-apocalyptic Science Fantasy World. With enormous environments, you are able to explore with your jetpack and play your story however you want.

An unidentified threat appears from the clouds, unleashing dark Elex’s dangerous force and inflicting a threat on all life on Earth, several years after Jax defeated the Hybrid. Jax must go in search of a way to convince that the other factions are not to be a victim of the invading forces, as well as find Dex his son, who is not with him.
